What shapes the cost of furnishing a vacation home?
Start with a room schedule
Bedroom count alone does not define an investment. Bed sizes, guest capacity, shared spaces and entertainment all change quantities and scope. List the rooms and what is already in place before comparing proposals.
Compare complete scopes
Ask whether a proposal includes procurement, freight, receiving, assembly, installation, linens, kitchen inventory and final styling. A furniture-only list and a turnkey proposal describe different deliverables.
Use current specifications
Price each item against a confirmed supplier specification. Keep allowances visible and check lead times before committing. Our project builder records the scope first; a reviewed proposal follows actual specifications and costs, not a per-bedroom promise.
